Official Synopsis:

After the sudden and brutal deaths of his wife Megara and his daughter Iris, the demigod Hercules leaves his home in search of a path to forgiveness.  Disgraced, distrusted and hated by the Greek population, Hercules decides to seek council and guidance to repair his reputation and honor.

Meanwhile, a ferocious and mysterious beast has begun terrorizing Cleonae, a small farm town in the Argolid Region of Southern Greece.  News of this man-eating monster lurking in the Nemean Forest has reached the city of Tiryns where the King; Lord Eurystheus contemplates a way to deal with this terror.

The solution to this horror comes in the form of Hercules, the only one capable of challenging the beast.  However, the citizens of Cleonae do not trust Hercules and do not want the help of the disgraced son of Zeus.  And even Hercules himself doubts he can be the hero Greece needs him to be.

But with no other options Hercules is given this task, by both council of an Oracle and command of the King.  He will have no choice but to face this monster as penance for a terrible past deed.  And Hercules alone must stop the monster’s vicious attacks if he is to ever regain the trust and admiration of Greece.
